About the Journal
The Journal of Applied Hindu Studies (JAHS) is a peer-reviewed scholarly initiative dedicated to promoting Vedic and Ancient Indian Studies in all their dimensions. Through its activities, publications, and international conferences, WAVES provides a global platform for high-quality research, dialogue, and dissemination of knowledge related to India’s profound intellectual and spiritual heritage.
Recognized as the source of some of the world’s oldest intellectual traditions, the Vedas have profoundly shaped Hindu culture and influenced philosophical, scientific, and spiritual thought across the globe. JAHS encourages interdisciplinary research spanning philosophy, science, linguistics, history, religion, and related fields. Its mission is to correct misconceptions, highlight India’s enduring scholarly legacy, and foster respectful cross-cultural engagement with Vedic knowledge—past and present.
The JAHS continue this mission by presenting original research articles, critical reviews, and informed discussions arising from the conference deliberations. This collection offers an academically rigorous and inclusive space for scholars, practitioners, and enthusiasts to engage with the richness of the Vedic heritage in all its diversity.
